Suction mounts let go under braking. Helmets block a dash cam. This clips onto the headrest posts and angles toward the interior mirror, so you get hands, road and a bit of what is behind you.

Installation
No tools. Clip onto the headrest posts.
With a helmet, use the passenger seat so the camera is not looking into the shell. If the footage still shakes, lock the seatbelt and push the seat into the locked belt before you go out. That is the usual fix.

Gen 1 and Gen 2? Yes. Same headrest pin size and spacing.
Which side? Order for the seat you will mount in. Passenger side is the better picture if you wear a helmet.
Will the headrest still lock? Yes.
Does it remove all vibration? No. The seat itself flexes. The TPU helps. The seatbelt trick helps more.
