Film your laps, from the centre of the car
Open the lid, clamp onto the hook underneath. The camera sits low and central and films forward through the windscreen, with the wheel and the driver's hands in frame. No suction cup on the screen, no bar across the cabin.

The problem: F-series cabins have nowhere good for a camera
Suction cups fail under braking and block the view. The armrest hook is the one solid, central anchor point that is out of the driver's way.

Will it fit an F80 M3 or F82 M4? No. Those have a different armrest. This listing is 1- and 2-series only.
M2 CS? No. The CS armrest is not the same.
